Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has described the demise of the Speaker, Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Adeyemo as a shocking loss which the state will not recover from in a distant time.
Aregbesola stated this during a condolence visit to the Governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi at the government house in Agodi, Ibadan the state capital.
Aregbesola who went in company of some cabinet members which included the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa, Commissioner for Health, Mr Rafiu Isamotu among others was received on arrival by Ajimobi, Oyo state First Lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi and a former governor of the state, Chief Alao Akala.
Ajimobi while thanking Aregbesola for the visit described the late Adeyemo as a very nice individual who was supportive and loyal in the quest to make life better for the people of Oyo, saying that he was as a complete gentle man.
A condolence letter to the family of the late Oyo speaker was presented by Aregbesola on behalf of the government and people of Osun to the Oyo state government.
