Fast growing medium, Newmoon Magazine, will tomorrow, celebrate it’s 10th year of existence with a public lecture and awards to distinguished personalities across the country.
According to the Chief Editor of the magazine firm, Comrade Mukhtar DeMoon, in a statement he issued on Wednesday, a special edition of the magazine would be unveiled at the anniversary ceremony slated to hold at Royal Spring Holiday Inn, Osogbo.
Osogbo, the capital city of the state of Osun will stand to its feet on the 5th of July as a young freelance Journalist and Newmoon Magazine Chief Editor, Comrade Mukhtar Ajelogbon DeMoon will officially unveils a special edition of NewMoon Magazine to commemorate his 10th year in community journalism and inspiring quality broadcasting in an action parked programme.
Ajelogbon, a freelance journalist disclosed that the public lecture entitled: “Role Of Social Media/Blog Journalism In Our Democratization Process,” would be delivered by the Osun State Commissioner for Information and strategy, Hon. Adelani Banirinwa while a veteran broadcaster, Prince Akolade Alabi would be the Keynote Speaker.
He said there would be award presentations to those who have made indelible contributions in the development of the country in their various capacities and disciplines.
The event would also be used to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ajelogbon in mainstream media.
He therefore urged media practitioners and members of the public in general to attend the event slated for 10am on Thursday, July 5.
