A socio political group in Osun state, Omisore Ambassadors, has declared it’s support for the candidature of Senator Iyiola Omisore of the Social Democratic Party ahead of the September 22 governorship poll.
The group also urged the people of the state to vote for the emancipation of the state and good governance by casting their ballots for Omisore.
In a release issued and signed by its National Coordinator, Comrade Engr. Kazeem Afolabi and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday, the group described Omisore as capable of rescuing the state from its challenges.
It noted that Senator Omisore having served as the deputy governor of the state, a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers and two-term senator with varse experience as the Senate chairman of Finance and Appropriation committees, would deliver the state from shackle of financial mess if elected.
Afolabi also stressed that Omisore has deep knowledge of governance and would transform the state economically if elected.
The release reads, “the candidate of Social Democratic Party(SDP) if elected will use his intellectual prowess in safeguarding the abysmal situation of payment of workers wages in the state as his experienced will speak for him.
“We at Omisore Ambassador believe strongly in the abilities of our principal, Senator Iyiola Omisore. We believe in his capabilities to take Osun to greater level it deserves, that is why we are urging the electorates in Osun state to support his aspiration and make life bearable, comfortable and dignifyng in our dear state”
