The Permanent Secretary, Osun State Universal Education Board, Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole has extended his warm felicitations to the Muslims all over the world on the celebration of this year’s Eid-il-Kabir which marks the beginning of the new Islamic calendar year.
The Osun SUBEB boss made this known via a press statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen last night at his country home Modakeke, State of Osun.
Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole said the celebration of Eid-il-Kabir is an important event which every Muslims and non-Muslims should endeavour to learn greatly from it.
In his words, he said “There are great lessons to be learnt in today’s celebration because its centres on sacrifice and perseverance”. “This is telling us that as human beings, we should be able to lend support to people around us even sometimes if it requires inconvenienting ourselves “. “If every individual can imbibe this, honestly the world will be a better place to live for all and sundry, he concluded “.
The Osun SUBEB boss also advised that irrespective of our individual challenges, people should not let the challenge to eat them up, rather than doing the unspeakable, the period should be used as self discovery for positive change.
