The campaign rally of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) ahead of Steptember 22nd governorship election in Osun State on Wednesday shut-down iragbiji the Secretariat of Boripe Local Government.
The campaign rally started from Iree town down to Ada , Aagba and finally at iragbiji was attended by hundreds of the PDP supportters. Traders were seen locking their shops to attend the rally which was crowded with hundreds of people.
Olona of Ada, Oba Abimbola Olaleken Abioye 11, prayed for PDP guber candidate and have him his Blessing, same as the Alagba of Aagba Oba Rufus Olayinka Ogunwole Illufemiloye as well as the traditional chiefs of Iree town.
While addresing the supportters, Senator Adeleke promised transparency and accountability of good governance if elected.
Sen. Adeleke said his administration would prioritise the welfare of the people and the traditional rulers and as well work assiduously to advance traditional institution, culture and tourism.
He charged the voters not allow themselves to be manipulated by the opposition parties, stating that none of them has good plan for the state.
In his part the State Chairman of PDP, Mr Soji Adegunodo thanked the huge crowd for their patience, urged electorate to vote out APC in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
According to him ,” the APC government of Ogbeni has destroy the state educational system, with various policy ,ranging from the unification of school uniform in the state which has made very difficult to identify pupils from various school as well as margin of school.
