The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has sent warm greetings to all Muslim faithfuls across the state on the Eid-Mubarak celebration.
A heart felt felicitation was sent in a message by the State Chairman of the party, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo and made available to news men in Osogbo today reads “this is the time that Nigerians should move closer to Almighty Allah in prayers, supplications and in making acceptable sacrifices of rendering help to the less privileged without complaints as taught by Prophet Ibrahim who agreed to sacrifice his son on the order of Almighty Allah and the total submission by the child who didn’t challenge his father, even at the point of death.
Adagunodo said “those who are in power, their aides and the entire citizens must imbibe the teaching of total submission to the dictates of the Holy Quran that mandates all Muslims to be generous and loving to fellow human beings as we are bound to reap the fruits of our total submission to Allah at all times.
” We must be law abiding and submisive to the authority because that is the will of Allah especially now that Nigeria is experiencing serious security challenges. He also advised that our people should be vigilant during the celebration and report any suspicious moves to the appropriate agencies and avoid taking laws into their own hands because Islam doesn’t support jungle justice for whatever reason.
He further advised those in government to make the provision of basic amenities and infrastructures their priorities and ensure that these are made available for the use of the citizens because that is the ideal thing in a sane society.
An idle hand is the workshop of the devil also advised our youths to be “creative as government cannot provide white collar job for everyone. He said it is the youths that can give directions of where any nation will go, especially economically because they are the bedrock of development all over the world.”
“The country needs creative minds that will give the government of the day the willingness to improve on the youth’s creativity and make them to become the generation’s young entrepreneurs who will revamp our economy like China and other advanced nations of the world.”
However, he advised the Muslim clerics not to relent in feeding our youths with the words of God because every growing youth who is a Muslim needs to have the teachings of the Holy Quran inculcated in him to reduce the increasing crime rates and drug abuse among our youths.
He prayed to God to spare the lives of the citizens and give them the opportunity to witness many more Sallah celebrations.
