Osun 2019: Why I left PDP For ADP- Adebowale

A former chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Imam Azeem Adebowale has disclosed that he has decided to join the Action Democratic Party.

Adebowale had dumped the People’s Democratic Party.

He has however clinched the Osun State House of Assembly ticket of the Ede North State Constituency and tagged his campaign  “Olorun Lambe 2019”

Revealing his new party (ADP)  in a statement he signed and made available to journalists, Adebowale said he would win the Assembly seat.

He said, “In democracy, everyone should have their say, but majority will have their way. I appreciate my people that have stood by me all through my travails in the hands of those that erroneously believe they are Alpha and Omega of politics in our land.

“For the past few days, I have received as much love and well wishes from my people that is beyond description. People have been calling and visiting to ask me which party will God use to actualize our dream. I am glad to announce to you that I have been nominated as the candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP) to contest for the Osun State House of Assembly Ede North State Constituency Seat in the 2019 General Elections.

“My stand has always been for the interest of my town. I am confident in God and you my good people of Ede land, that come March 2019, we shall prove to doubting Thomases that the will of the people is Supreme over the interest of some few titans in Ede land.

“I urge you all to support this course not only for my sake but also for the sake of our land, our people, our youths and our children. Let us use this election to prove to the world that every Ede son and daughter has equal opportunity to rise to the top with the support of God and the people.

“With the support of you all, we shall actualize our dream by the special grace of God. I urge you all to spread the good news that we are unstoppable, unshakable and undeniably the winning team. In unison we have declared to win for Ede North on the platform of ADP in 2019.

“I appreciate your support, resilience and prayers. Thank you as you spread the good news. God bless you all.”
