Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Osun East Senatorial District in the February 16 General election this year, Engr. Israel Ajibola Famurewa has welcomed President Muhammad Buhari to Osun state today.
Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress is billed to storm Osogbo, capital of Osun state where he would solicit for the votes of the people of the state ahead of 2019 presidential election.
Buhari would be hosted at the Osogbo City Stadium by the state governor, other government officials, politicians and people of the state.
Famurewa, in his message that was made available to newsmen on Saturday, extolled the virtues of Buhari saying his visit was long awaited.
The senotarial candidate, while felicitating with Governor Gboyega Oyetola as he would be hosting Mr President to Osun, first of its kind since he became the governor, asked the people to troop out and welcome Buhari.
Famurewa assured Buhari of massive votes in Osun saying he merited it.
