I’m Irrevocably Committed To Oyetola’s Govt, APC – Osogbo West LCDA Chair

The Executive Chairman, Osogbo West LCDA, Alhaja Temilade Olokungboye has denied working against the interest of the present administration in the state of Osun.

Speaking with newsmen at the Oranmiyan House in Osogbo, Olokungboye noted that there is no rift between her, the present Governor and the immediate past Chief Executive of the state, Rauf Aregbesola.

She restated her commitment to working assiduously to promoting and projecting the activities of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC as a party and the government of the day.

Alhaja Olokungboye who noted that recent rumours on her anti-Oyetola activities is a figment of the naysayers urging party members to disregard such reports.

“There is no rift between the present Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and I nor our leader and former Governor Aregbesola. I am irrevocably committed to the course of APC and our government.”

“As a head of the third-tier of government, I will continue in my unfettered resolve to promote the continuity agenda of Oyetola started by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for the progress of our state.”

“However, there is no rift between the immediate past Governor Rauf Aregbesola and the successor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as being peddled around by the rumour mongers.

“I want to say emphatically that there is a cordial relationship between the immediate past Governor and the incumbent Governor.

“The rumour is the figment of imagination of those who were peddling such unfounded rumour and they are doing that to create unnecessary acrimony between the two great leaders of our party.

“We would all recall that recently, Oyetola went to Abuja on behalf of Ogbeni Aregbesola, where he was honoured for exemplary performance in office. He collected the award on his behalf and he went to Lagos to present the ward to him.

“Governor Oyetola in company with the party chairman Prince Famodun went to receive  the award on behalf of Ogbeni and presented the award to him in Lagos

The Local Government boss who frowned at such unfounded rumour urged residents of the state to disregard such news which she said could cause disunity among the members of the party.
