A robber in San Jacinto evidently picked the wrong house to break into Sunday Morning. He was confronted by a 92-year-old homeowner armed with a firearm. By Jacinto police, the interloper attempted to increase constrained entry by crushing an entryway with a hatchet at a house in the 1400 square of Chase Street at around 11 a.m. Joe Milspa said he heard the clamor and drew nearer the entryway with his handgun. That was the point at which "he all of a sudden saw an outside glass window of the home break, trailed by the suspect endeavoring to slither into his home through the window," said Sgt. Craig McDonald of the San Jacinto Police Department. Milspa, who is a World War II veteran and lives alone, promptly discharged one round at the intruder. "I could have shot him right in the head between the eyes. Be that as it may, I would not like. I would have been stuck in an unfortunate situation," Milspa said. The criminal was not hit. However, he did take off running, deserting his hatchet and a few different things, police said. Milspa, who filled in as a workman for the Los Angeles Police Department for a long time, said he has had the weapon for a considerable length of time and still goes to the shooting range. The thief was depicted as 20 to 30 years of age with a dim appearance
