The National Youth Service Corps has sanctioned 59 corps members in Osun State with an extension for various infractions, while 26 were declared absconders from the service.

The state coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim, disclosed this on Thursday during the Batch C Stream I passing-out ceremony.

Mr. Agbor affirmed that 1,963 corps members successfully completed their service year and were awarded Certificates of National Service (CNS).

He commended the corps members for their discipline and exemplary conduct throughout their service year.

The NYSC boss advised corps members to cultivate self-reliance amid the scarcity of white-collar jobs by leveraging the skills they’ve acquired to create opportunities.
