AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE
House of Representatives member, Hon. Bamidele Salam, representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo federal constituency, has distributed items including generators, deep freezers, industrial sewing machines, tiler tools, and other equipment to empower youths and women in Osun.
The event, held at country home in Ede on Friday, September 20, 2024, was part of the program lineup to celebrate his one-year anniversary in the 10th Assembly.
Speaking at the event, special guest of honor Chief (Mrs.) Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni praised Rep. Bamidele Salam for various projects executed across his federal constituency.She stated that the PDP and Osun government, under Governor Ademola Adeleke’s leadership, are proud of him.
Chief Modupeola urged beneficiaries not to sell the equipment but to use it to generate income. She also expressed optimism that everything will soon return to normal in the country.
She encouraged other public office holders to emulate Rep. Salam’s example and give back to their constituents, emphasizing that this is the only way for communities to enjoy dividends of democracy.
While addressing the beneficiaries and attendees, Hon. Bamidele Salam said the mega empowerment program was a token of return to society as a representative.
He implored those who had never benefited from his empowerment programs to be patient, assuring them that it will soon be their turn.
Hon.Salam encouraged beneficiaries to use the items for their intended purpose and not sell or trade them. He also promised to continue working and delivering in the people’s interest.
Also speaking, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’Agundi, the Director General of the National Productivity Centre in Abuja, commended Hon. Bamidele Salam’s efforts in reaching out to the people in the community.
He stated that they had witnessed various empowerment programs across the country and would continue to support and work with Hon. Salam to bring democracy’s dividends to the people.
The beneficiaries appreciated the lawmaker’s kind gesture and promised to make good use of the items received.
