The Osun state Government Executive council h has approved new Procurement Bill (Ammendment), which is designed to block any loopholes in the state procurement process.
In a statement issued by th Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, on Wednesday, said the proposed amendments were approved by the Council while the chairman of the Council, Governor Adeleke has signed a letter forwarding the bill to the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Adewale Egbedun for legislative action.
According to him, other resolutions of the Council include directive on preparation for the second year anniversary of the state government, commendation on sectoral performance for some ministries, directive for deepening of public engagement among others.
