Popular activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has regained his freedom after being reportedly arrested and detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Lagos airport.

In an update, Sowore shared a post on his official social media page, announcing his release.
He wrote: “I have just been released by the Nigerian Immigration Service after a brief detention, and my passport has been returned to me. #RevolutionNow”
