Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has revealed the surprising story of how he funded his N1.4 billion film village in Oyo State.
In a recent video gaining public attention, Chatta shared that he financed the project entirely on his own, without loans or grants.
He disclosed that he acquired the substantial funds from an unexpected income source during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Ibrahim Chatta, known for his impressive film village, shared that during the lockdown, he teamed up with fellow actor Tayo Sobola to offer personalized shout-outs.
Each shout-out earned him around N300,000, and the high demand helped him amass significant funds.
Chatta also revealed that before the film village, he had no savings and was struggling with unfinished property projects.
He described how he had been praying for funds to complete a property that had been stalled at the lintel stage.
Ibrahim Chatta credited his breakthrough to divine intervention, expressing deep gratitude to God for the timely support.
