VYOs Laud Osun NYCN, Adeleke, Others Over Unity Among Youths

The Voluntary Youth Organisations (VYOs) in Osun State under the leadership of Comrade Kamil Badmus has commended the state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) for ensuring cohesion and harmonisation of ideas and interests among youths in the state.

Speaking at focal group discussion among leaders of VYOs over the weekend, the group appreciated the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Adewale Egbedun, his deputy, Hon. Abidemi Oyewusi, and the Chairman House Committee on Youths, Sport and Special Needs, Hon. Abiola Awoyeye, for their leadership role in ensuring that there is peace among the youth groups in the state.

The youth group also applauded the Osun State Commissioner of Youth Affairs, Moshood Olagunju, for his role in fostering unity among the youths.

“We acknowledged his effort and magnanimity in ensuring that youths in the state have a voice in the current administration led by Sen. Dr. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke,” it said.

The group further appreciated Governor Adeleke’s effort in ensuring that the youths group in the state were carried along during the rice distribution released by the state government to celebrate the last Eid-el-Kabir.

The group added, “This gesture of the honourable commissioner is noteworthy, and we hope it continues

“We want to appreciate His Excellency, Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke, for his giant strides in infrastructure development and food security most especially for considering the NYCN chairman, as a member of the food security committee in the state.

“We shall continue to work with the honourable commissioner of youth in ensuring that Osun Youths are united, transformed, and developed.

“We appeal to the teeming public to continue to support the government developmental plans and good governance in Osun State.”
