Osun Residents Laud Inside Osogbo For Organizing Novelty Match, As BAF Offers Free Medical Test

In a bid to support the government’s efforts in improving the well-being of Osun state residents, the Benson Adeyemi Foundation (BAF) has colaborated with Inside Osogbo to organized a football match and a medical outreach programme for the youths.

The outreach aims at promoting sport, address fitness of the body and provide free medical services to the residents, complementing the government’s healthcare initiatives.

BAF held the outreach on Sunday to support a novelty match between the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun Command, and Osun Twitter FC that ended in 1-1 draw, held at the Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo Osun State capital.

While speaking, the representative of the NGO, Temitope Oladejo said the organization has been conducting various outreaches for over eight months, aligning with the government’s efforts to promote wellness.

Oladejo encouraged individuals to prioritize their health and maintain a healthy lifestyle through regular check-ups, regardless of financial circumstances.

According to him, “This is a testament to what the organization stands for and also to work with the Osun State Government in making sure that the life of the lives of the people in are well improved by having an overall healthy lifestyle.

“This is our own way of giving back to the society and we are also committed to the effort of the government.

“Over 8 months we have been running different outreaches, we are always happy to contribute our quota to the state government when its comes ensuring that people have a healthy life style.

“Our key focus is to make sure people maintain healthy life style and we want to encourage that people frequently go for check ups,” he added.

However, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the BAF for providing free medical services to the community.

Omokorede Anthonia and Oluwatosin Adodo were among those who praised the organization for their commendable work in caring for the health and well-being of the residents.

Omokorede Anthonia said, “I want to say a big thank you to BAF for the free medical service. This is truly commendable, and we appreciate the organization’s efforts in caring for people’s health.”

Oluwatosin Adodo also lauded the team of the NGO, saying, “The service provided by BAF is top-notch, and we are grateful for their dedication to improving the health and lives of our community members.”
