The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) OSBC Chapel has rejoiced with its Patron, His Royal Majesty, Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama CON, The Olowu of Kuta, on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.
This is contained in a Congratulatory message, jointly signed by Chairman of the union, Comrade Lateef Agboola; and the Secretary, Comrade Kamilu Raheem.
The statement describes Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama as a blessing to his Kingdom, the NUJ, Journalism profession at large and to the mankind in general.
It also acknowledges the unrelenting support and guidance of Oba Oyelude Makama the in keeping the flag of the union flying; while Praying the milestone to mark the beginning of another decade of sound health, wisdom and prosperity for His Royal Majesty and his kingdom.
Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora have also taken to their various social media platforms to celebrate with the monarch on the occasion of his birthday.
AMILOADED gathered that Oba Oyelude was born in 1964 at Kuta. His parents were the direct descendants of the founder of Kuta Kingdom. Oba Makama ascended the throne of his forefathers on the 15th of September, 2012.
Oba (Dr) Hammed Adekunle Oyelude is happily married, blessed with good children and very well supported by his Oloris.
His hobbies includes travelling, private Zoo keeping, reading, meeting people and lawn tennis.
HRM Dr Oyelude is that superior gentleman that is modest in speech but irrepressible in his actions. His transformation of Owu-Kuta Kingdom; based on his capacity to harness the assistance of friends and well-wishers; his diplomatic engineering of his people; his tireless efforts at persuading and winning over known detractors are special gifts that God endowed him with.
