Zamfara Governor Dauda Lawal has confirmed that some people are negotiating with bandits without his knowledge in the state.
He made the confirmation during Channels TV “Sunrise Daily” on Tuesday, June 11.
He said: “Somebody somewhere, somehow behind our back is negotiating with the bandits. As a governor of the state without my knowledge.
“To some extent we know those negotiating with the bandits.
“I had to meet Mr. President and complain one on one, and explain the true situation of what we’re facing in terms of the security situation.
“How many times are you going to keep negotiating, on what basis?”
