Asalu, Omowaiye Celebrate Sallah with Hussein, Welcome Him Back To Mainstream APC

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Engr. David Ayodele Asalu, alongside the Executive Director (Project Implementation) of the Federal Housing Authority, Engr. Remi Omowaiye, were on Sunday, 16th April, guests of a former Senator in Osun West Senatorial District, Sen. Mudasiru Hussein, to celebrate Sallah.

The former Senator who was a Chieftain of the Omoluabi Progressives, a group led by a former Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, hosted Chieftains and Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his Ejigbo country home, to celebrate the 2024 Eid-el-Adha, and express his full return to the mainstream of the party in the State.

At the party that was well attended by hundred of APC members from across Osun State, as well as followers of the former Senator, he publicly declared his return to the fold of the party, after what his stint with the Omoluabi Progressives which he tagged “a mistake”.

He expressed his willingness to work with all organs of the APC in Ejigbo Local Government and Osun State, to ensure victory for the party in coming elections, and to build a formidable party that will withstand all shenanigans of opposition elements.

Welcoming the former Senator back to the APC fold, Asalu and Omowaiye hailed his bold decision to abandon the sinking ship of the Omoluabi Progressives and return to the party that gave him a platform to excel in politics. The duo encouraged him to continue playing his part as a loyal party man, assuring him that the APC in Osun is stronger and ready to accommodate all interests.

Speaking further, Asalu stated his immense joy over the decision by the former Senator. He disclosed that Hussein’s return to the APC means a boost to the growing acceptability of the APC in Ejigbo and Osun State, assuring that the APC will wrestle power from the current clueless government of the PDP in Osun State.
