OSHIA: We Organized Staff Training To Improve the Operation and Effectiveness – Dr Rasaq Akindele

The Executive Secretary of the Osun Health Insurance Agency (OSHIA), Dr Razaq Akindele says the 2-Day Capacity Training for staff pf the agency is to improve the agency’s operation and staff effectiveness. He stressed that the need for change in the way of doing things facilitated the newly completed secretariat of OHIS by Governor Ademola Adeleke.

“Thereafter, the agency experienced a change of hands as I was installed as the new head. A change in operation calls for adjusting of the modus operandi which includes retraining of workers,” Akindele said on Tuesday.

Also speaking, the Legal Officer of OSHIA and a participant of the training, Mrs Adekemi Oyelola, thanked the management of the agency for the continuous training of the people. Oyelola said she has participated in multiple training and expressed hope for its continuation.

The Head of ICT, Akanbi Akinolu Elisha, said the OSHIA was aware that the training introduced the agency to a new leadership, including understanding what they bring on board, their focus, and goals.

On his part, Omole Babatunde described Pronix imagination as a management solution oriented organisation filling capacity gaps for optimum deliverables of any organisation.

The program was created as a result of the impeding need to fill certain gaps in the agency which included the need of improved skillset of workers.
