Ipade Imole: Waste of Osun Meagre Resources – NNPP

New Nigeria Peoples Party as described the programme organised by the Osun state government tagged Imole Osun which took place at Oba Aromolaran Civic Center, Ilesa, on Tuesday as a mere jamboree and waste of Osun resources.

NNPP noted that how a supposed interactive programme with the citizens turned to a PDP event beats the imagination of every right thinking person in Osun.

Speaking with journalists, the chairman, Osun NNPP, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, challenged the state government to disclose the amount taken from state’s coffer for the programme.

Odeyemi noted that it is disheartening that at this time of dwindling economy, the Adeleke-led state government could venture into a valueless programme of that magnitude.

According to him, ‘The expectation was that the state governor will reel-out his achievements and give ample time for people to ask questions.

‘But we were disappointed that nothing of such happened, instead, they allowed only those that have been tutored to ask petty questions at the gathering.

‘We wish to sound a note of warning to Mr Governor and his handlers to stop wasting our resources, if he wants a real feedback from people, he should go on live radio station programme where people will be able to ask him questions on the way he is paddling the affairs of Osun’
