Remains of Late Access Bank CEO, Hebert Wigwe, his wife and their son Chizi Wigwe have arrived in Nigeria from the United States of America.
Recall that Wigwe tragically passed away on Friday night, February 9th, in a helicopter crash alongside his wife, Doreen Chizoba Wigwe and son, Chizi Wigwe (born on January 1995).
Also killed were ormer Nigerian Exchange Group Plc Chairman Abimbola Ogunbanjo, and two crew members.
Herbert Wigwe’s tribute events commenced on March 4, 2024, as part of his funeral program. The funeral proceedings are scheduled to conclude on March 9, with his interment in his hometown of Isiokpo, Rivers State.
Wigwe’s daughter, Tochi, delivered a heartfelt tribute to her father, emphasizing the significant impact he had on her life and the legacy he leaves behind. She expressed the enormity of the shoes she feels she must fill following his passing

mrjamesreinhold: It’s very sad. I remember when my brother passed at home and there was no ambulance around. I had to be strong and wrapped my brother with a blanket and put him in the trunk of the car. He used to fight with my sister who should take the front seat anytime we drove around but that day he had no choice which part of the car we should put him. I learned the true meaning of life that fateful day. Let’s cherish the life we have today whether or not we are getting our heart desires. Don’t look down on people thinking you have arrived. It’s sad loosing a loved one. I wish the family well.
