OHIS Enrolls Secondary Students With Special Needs In Osogbo

The Osun State Insurance Agency (OHIS)under the leadership of Dr. Rasaz Akindele, on January 8, 2024 opened enrollment for the Osun State Secondary School for Persons with Special Needs at Powerline, Osogbo, Nigeria for the vulnerable population.

The information officer of the Osun State Insurance Agency’s information officer, Mr. Segun Odewunmi, emphasized the importance of this effort by mentioning laws requiring the enrollment of vulnerable people.

He stated that on that particular day, 300 people were intended to be enrolled.

He applauded Senator Jackson Ademola Adeleke’s administration for making this project possible, which has a five-year validity span.

Those who enroll immediately become eligible for free healthcare treatments, he added.

Ajala Oluwadamilare, a beneficiary expressed her thanks and emphasized the significance of fully committing to the enrollment process.

In support of continued government assistance for individuals with special needs, he also exhorted his peers to follow suit.

Reiterating gratitude for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s government, Adesola Kehinde, another recipient, voiced optimism for further advancement.

In addition, he made a plea to the government to help with the restoration of the school’s damaged facilities and guaranteeing wholesome food access.

Under the direction of Governor Ademola Adeleke, this enrollment drive is a step in the direction of inclusivity and assistance for Osun State’s vulnerable citizens in Nigeria.
