AFCON Final: “God No Dey Work” – Angry Football Lovers Destroy TV After Nigeria Lost To Ivory Coast (Video)

A video is making the rounds on social media that reveals the moment angry football lovers destroyed their TV after Nigeria lost to Ivory Coast.

Yesterday, February 11th 2024 was a sad day for football lovers in Nigeria as Super Eagles of Nigeria lost the final of AFCON to the host country Ivory Coast.

Even though the Super Eagles of Nigeria kickstarted on a good note by scoring the first goal of the final match in the first half it still resulted in a dead end for them.

The Elephants of Ivory Coast equalized in the second half and later went on to scored a second goal.

After losing the AFCON final against Ivory Coast, emotional reactions started flying in the air with singer Teni crying among others.

However, another video trending online shows the moment some Nigerian boys went angry following the AFCON loss and by extension were seen destroying their TV.

After destroying the TV by smashing it heavily on the ground, one of the boys could be heard saying “God no dey work.”

Expressing his anger further, one of them identified as Okoro Chukwudi27 on popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter wrote;

“Fvck Nigeria, Fvck AFCON.”
