Hundeyin said the incident was reported at Shasha police station by the owner of Shamseedeen mosque on Taiwo close, Shasha around 7pm same day.

He said the owner of the mosque alleged that the deceased jumped into an abandoned well in front of the mosque and that efforts to rescue him by the neighbours proved abortive
