AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE

The Governor,
Osun State,
His Excellency, Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke Jackson

Dear Sir,

Reconsidering The School Fees Increment: A Plea for Affordable Education

With due respect to your esteemed office, I hope this letter finds you well, as it comes from the heart of a concerned alumnus of Osun State Polytechnic who believes in your commitment to the welfare of the people. I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of great importance that affects not only the current generation but the future of our state – the recent increment in school fees of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree

I want to acknowledge the commendable steps your administration has taken in the past to reverse certain policies that burdened the citizens. Your dedication to being the governor of the people has been evident, and it is with utmost respect that I approach you today seeking your intervention in the matter of increased school fees.

The decision to reverse a previous fee increment was a beacon of hope for many families struggling to provide quality education for their children. However, the recent adjustment in school fees has left many in a state of uncertainty. Our economy is facing challenges, and the financial burden this increment places on parents and students is daunting.

Your Excellency, you have always championed the cause of the people, and I implore you to reconsider this fee increment. The adverse effects of high school fees are far-reaching, potentially leading to increased dropout rates and denying bright minds the chance to pursue education. As the governor who stands for the people, your administration has the power to shape the future by ensuring that education remains accessible to all, regardless of economic background.

I understand the importance of funding education adequately, but I believe there are alternative solutions that can be explored to mitigate the impact on families facing financial hardships. Perhaps a comprehensive review of the state’s budget allocation for education or seeking innovative partnerships could offer sustainable solutions without placing an undue burden on the citizens.

Your Excellency, your legacy as a leader who prioritizes the well-being of the people is well-established. I trust that you will consider this appeal earnestly and take steps to alleviate the concerns of the students. By ensuring affordable education, you will not only secure the future of our youth but also reinforce your reputation as a governor who listens to and cares for the needs of the people.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Samson Ajao (Impeccable)
