Group Organizes Interdenominational Prayers For APC, Tinubu

AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE

A group identified as Next Level Progressive Movement under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State Chapter has organized an interdenominational prayer for the party.

At the NLPMFAS National Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun state, on Tuesday, January 23, the event was held.

Party leaders, including Professor Ifemidayo Akinmoladun, Dotun Babayemi’s representative, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola’s representative in person, and Sunday Akeere, were among those in attendance at the ceremony.

In his message to the crowd, Pastor Mao Adewole, the planning committee, stated that the Movement can not function without prayers, which is the primary reason for the meeting.

“We also wish to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party with prayers because there are enemies that can only be vanquished with prayer. We offer prayers for Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the minister, as well. Our prayers will undoubtedly be heard”.

Speaking further, Honorable Owoeye Samuel Abiodun (OSA), the DG/state coordinator of the Next Lever Progressive Movement, stated that “Our movement is praying because the president of the federation has been generous enough to give each state the fund gathered from subsidy, the way some state governors are managing the fund is in total dismay.”

Additionally, we want the President and National Assembly to collaborate on a project like a yearly road project of 10 kilometers by 5 kilometers that will cross 744 local governments and have an influence on rural communities.

The Honorable Sunday Akere (Oluomo) also provided insight into the party members’ unity.

Akere claims that the APC in Osun State is unified under the chairmanship of Sooko Tajudeen Lawal and the minister of marine and blue economy, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.

“No family is perfect; nonetheless, the beauty lies in your ability to manage the family, which is why we are making sure that those who are uncomfortable will receive support. APC is a single party”, he said.

“The issue of the removal of traditional rulers in osun by the PDP lead government is condemnable and we will want to say it on good authority that what they are doing is plain politics with our traditional institution,” stated Sunday Akere in response to questions about the removal of traditional rulers in Osun.

‘Government is continuous. It is on record that when chief bisi Akande was a governor of the state in 2003, he appointed the Orangun of Ila three days to election and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola that took over from him did not remove him’.

Speaking further, he stated that while many Monarchs were making decisions prior to the most recent election, just three of them were impacted by the removal, demonstrating that politics is the driving force behind everything.

“The PDP is taking steps to ensure that Ila, Ire, and Igbajo do not have a king prior to the upcoming election in 2026. We also intend to ensure that, once the judiciary resumes, we will put an end to this manace.”
