EFCC Deletes Story Of Arrested OAU Students On Their Social Media Page

Hours after the release of the arrested OAU Students, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Thursday, has deleted story published on their official Social media page about the arrest.

Checks by AMILOADED MEDIA on their official Facebook page on Thursday, shows that the commission has taken down the post.

The commission earlier alleged that “They were arrested on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Oduduwa Estate area of Ile-Ife, Osun State following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in fraudulent internet-related activities. Credible intelligence linked Oduduwa Estate with activities of suspected internet fraudsters,” the anti-graft agency said.

Recall that amiloaded reported that after the arrest, student of the institution storm the commission office to protest against the arrest, which led to the release of the arrested students.

No official statement yet from the commission as regards the reason why the post was brought down.
