‘A politician With Delusional Sadness’ – Adeleke’s Aide Slams APC Scribe, Basiru Over Due Process Comments

AMILOADED MEDIA HUB NEWS UPDATE

Hashim Abioye, the Special Advisor to the Governor on Legal Matters has declared that Senator Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, is giving due process and the rule of law top priority in the state’s governance operations.

Abioye mocked the APC chairman Basiru, saying that he is a politician with delusional sadness because of the governor’s excellent performance and the administration’s strong dedication to following the law, due process, and procurement laws.

This was made known on Sunday through a statement released by Abioye in response to remarks regarding the state of due process in the state that were attributed to Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Special Advisor claimed that Bashiru, who has relentlessly attacked Governor Adeleke and his family verbally out of unrelenting pain over his election defeat, has painted a false image of the Governor being influenced by his family, particularly Chief Mrs. Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, the Governor’s older sister.

Abioye warned the Osogbo-born former Lawmaker to drop his insolence and to respect his present Office into which he was hurriedly packaged after he disgracefully lost his return bid to the National Assembly.

It is clear that Basiru was bitter at the peace and tranquility that is reigning within the Adeleke family, hence his many unfounded allegations and vituperations at a Governor who is delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Osun State.

Abioye also stated that since the coming on board of the Adeleke’s Administration, the Governor has not for once erred on the side of due process and rule of law.

His statement reads:

“I wonder why the man popularly called SRJ who is notorious for insolence and uncouth words against elderly people doesn’t process his words properly before making his presentations in public, especially when it comes to the issue of Osun under Governor Adeleke. He has been so obsessed with hatred for Governor Adeleke and his family to the extent of desperately causing violence on an Eid Day, flagrantly disobeying protocols and obviously disrespecting the Governor. Since his plan to launch violence on the Eid Day at Osogbo Prayer Ground failed, he has resorted to unjustified verbal attacks on Mr. Governor and his family.

While the man SRJ reserves the right to criticize the Adeleke’s Administration as a member of opposition in Osun State, he should for once be constructive and objective instead of his usual arrogant rigmarole”.

Speaking further Abioye states that “Senator Ajibola Basiru was part of the Aregbesola’s Administration for 8 years in Osun who sat as a key member of the State Executive Council under his former Boss with whom he has now ungratefully picked a fight. This is someone who is reasonably expected to know that it is not possible for an individual to hijack the Governance of a State except under an indolent State Executive Council, and except all democratic institutions in the State are no longer functioning. This is not the case with Osun.

“Governor Adeleke in his well-thought out plans for the State always consults with his formidable team of experts in relevant fields and seeks necessary legal advice in line with due process before embarking on any program for the State. Doesn’t the man SRJ listen to Government Officials from various Agencies of Government how transparently efficient and consultatively alert Governor Adeleke has been in running the affairs of the State.”

Abioye then advised Ajibola Basiru to come out open if he has any personal problem with the Governor’s Elder Sister, Yeye Dupe Adeleke-Sanni, especially with the kind of affectionate bond and love among the Adelekes who are renowned for always rallying round and supporting members of their family in all walks of life. “If SRJ treats his own family members with disgusting distancing like COVID-19, he shouldn’t expect reasonable people like the Adelekes to loathe their family members like SRJ does to his own family members”.

Thus, in order for Ajibola Basiru’s criticism of the current Administration to have any real impact, the Governor’s Aide finally advises him to put an end to his petulant behavior and find a more mature, constructive way to voice his concerns.
