A member of House of Representatives representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency of Osun State, Hon. Lukman Mudasiru, has empowered hundreds of the constituents in fish farming, AMILOADED reports.
Addressing the beneficiaries at the event held at Iwo City Hall, Mudasiru thanked the constituents for investing their time, energy and intellectual capacity for the training which he said has the propensity of lifting them out of poverty if effectively adhered to.
He urged them to make maximum use of the opportunity created by the training to better their lots.
The lawmaker also urged them to put the funds he is providing them as startup effectively in order to improve their living condition.
Mudasiru enjoined the beneficiaries not to despise their days of little beginning but take care of the “seed income” to multiply, promising to monitor them periodically for more possible future interventions.
He said he has prioritised human capital development and will continue to key into programmes that will strategically empower the people.
Some of the participants expressed gratitude to the lawmaker for the kind gesture and prayed that “God will continue to strengthen him in his political career”.
