Subject: Request For Appointment Of Alh. Idris Olayinka Oyeleke As Minister Of Youth Affairs

Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of all APC members in Osun State, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to you, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for your recent appointment of our esteemed leader and mentor, Alh. Gboyega Oyetola, as the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy. We anticipated this decision with great confidence, knowing that Alh. Oyetola’s exceptional capabilities will undoubtedly serve our nation well.

We also commend you, President Tinubu, for the bold and progressive decisions you’ve taken since assuming office; even if they may have caused initial discomfort, we have no doubt they are the decisions needed to be taken to spur Nigeria to the enviable height we envisioned. We are steadfastly committed to your leadership.

While we deeply appreciate the support you have provided to our party in Osun State, particularly with the appointments of Sen. Ajibola Basiru and Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as the National Secretary of APC and Minister of Marine & Blue Economy, respectively, we humbly wish to draw your attention to a matter of great importance.

In these challenging times, we believe that innovative and determined measures are required. As we ask for more, we remember that the journey to achieving our goals is paved with continuous effort. Therefore, we earnestly plead and urge Mr. President to consider appointing a representative from Osun State as the Minister of Youth Affairs.

Given that we are an opposition party, it is vital to strengthen our party’s presence and influence in the state. We remain committed to the vision of reclaiming our state’s leadership in the near future. We have a plethora of brilliant, qualified, competent, and dedicated members who are eager to contribute to your renewed hope agenda.

One such exemplary youth is Alh. Idris Olayinka Oyeleke. He is well-educated, experienced, and highly capable. Oyeleke possesses natural leadership qualities, remarkable intelligence, and resourcefulness, which empower him to navigate challenges adeptly.

Throughout his journey, Oyeleke has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the betterment of youths, women, the less privileged, and those with special needs. His benevolent efforts extend beyond personal gain, as he has been contributing from his own resources to drive these initiatives. Notably, he organized a large-scale free agricultural training and empowerment program for Osun youths in 2015, with all participants receiving take-off grants after the training, and he has continued to make a difference through his foundation.
Understanding the importance of giving back to the society, he has, through his foundation, been feeding over 1,200 Osun Muslims every RAMADAN since 2015. He has equally used his network of connections to legitimately secure jobs for more than 500 teeming Nigerian youths in both the public and private sectors.

Oyeleke’s commitment to education as a tool to fight poverty is commendable. He recognizes that quality education is a vital legacy for future generations. He has taken it upon himself to support over 100 students across the nation with free JAMB form every year since 2016, a testament to his dedication to a prosperous and progressive society.

As a well-educated individual himself, Oyeleke embodies the qualities that would make him an exceptional Minister of Youth Affairs. He aligns with your vision for a prosperous Nigeria and a brighter future for our youth. His extensive experience in contributing to various aspects of societal development reflects his readiness for a larger responsibility.

Mr. President, we are confident that Alh. Idris Olayinka Oyeleke, an accounting guru, possesses the qualities and dedication you are seeking in a Minister to lead the Youth Affairs Ministry. We respectfully implore you to consider him for this important role. With Oyeleke at the helm, we are certain that he will significantly contribute to your vision for a prosperous Nigeria.

Thank you for your attention to our humble request. We eagerly await your decision, which we believe will further solidify your commitment to youth empowerment and national development.

Yours sincerely,
Concerned Osun APC Youths
