BREAKING: Abducted Wife, Son Of OSBC Staff Regain Freedom In Osun

A housewife of the osun state broadcasting corporation (OSBC) Staff living in Osogbo, Osun State, Eniola Adedeji, who was abducted by some yet-to-be-identified persons suspected to be kidnapper, alongside her son, Alfred have regained freedom.

The mother and son were reportedly abducted in the Ota Efun area of Osogbo Saturday evening by some unknown people, said to be carrying arms.

According to family sources, they were released Sunday evening in Ikirun by their abductors.

The victims were said to be coming from the Oke Baale Area of Osogbo, going to Ota Efun on a commercial motorcycle when a vehicle blocked their way and the occupants, forced them into a bus and drove them to an unknown destination.

It was learnt that after the incident was reported at the state Police Command, the mobile phone of the victim was tracked to Ikirun, another town in the state by the operatives.

“But before police could move in, the perpetrators had abandoned the victims and fled. But the woman and the son have been reunited with her husband,” a top security source who pleaded anonymity told Punch .

According to the publication, the husband of the victim, Isaac Adedeji, confirmed the release.

Although he declined to give details of how his wife and child regained freedom, when asked if the victims have been released, Adedeji simply said, “They have been released. But I can’t give you the details now, please.”
