The Osun State government has alerted the public that a nine-year-old girl simply identified as “Ayinke” was found inside bush in Osun
A statement issued through the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Affairs by the state government disclosed that the girl was found abandoned at Fasugba farmland, along Ilesa- Ife Express Road.
The statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Modupe Irelewuyi, on Wednesday, said a good Samaritan found the girl abandoned in the bush.
According to the statement, “the abandoned girl’s case, who was discovered in the bush had earlier been reported at the Nigeria Police Station, Osu, Atakunmosa West Local Government Area, Osun State before notifying the Ministry.”
The statement enjoined members of the public with relevant information concerning Ayinke to assist in the possible location of her parents
