Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative announced that the forum Global Director, Abideen Olasupo, has been selected as the only Nigerian speaker during the plenary sessions of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum, AMILOADED reports.

The event will take place in New York from April 25-27, 2023.

The ECOSOC Youth Forum is a platform for young people to engage with policymakers, UN officials, and other stakeholders to discuss key issues related to sustainable development. This year’s theme is “Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at levels”

Abideen Olasupo will be speaking on the topic of “Strengthening Trust of Youth in Multilateralism: Exploring Intergenerational and Peer-to-Peer Dialogue” during the plenary sessions

He will be sharing his experiences and insights on how to foster trust among young people in the multilateral system and how intergenerational and peer-to-peer dialogue can facilitate this process.
