Prince Debo Odesola has urged the people of Osun State to vote for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and other candidates of the party in the 2023 general election, AMILOADED reports.
Odesola, in a statement signed by him on Monday, said votes for the PDP candidates would “bring Nigeria out of political slavery of APC”.
He stated, “The general election is fast approaching, the only way you can exercise your political right is by voting the candidate of your choice who is capable of safeguarding your political will.
“I as a political scientist, I really value the concept of rule of law and good governance, that is why I am urging electorates not to be dogmatic,vote wisely and vote Atiku/Okowa as president and vice president respectively to bring Nigeria out of political slavery of APC.
“Not only that, all our senatorial candidate, House of Representatives candidates including all our House of Assembly should be voted for on the 25th February and 11th of March 2023.
“The weapon of destruction is our PVC, let it be used unanimously to put an end to APC government in Nigeria.
“There must be end to chaos, anarchy and brutality in our dear country, this can be done if only will can submit our political will to all PDP candidate from federal to state and local government level,” the statement read.
