….Organizer Splashes Million On Winners
The Egbedore Local Government football team in Osun, has won the third edition of Adetunji Isiaka memorial football competition organized by Rep Bamidele Salam.
One of the most dramatic major sporting events in history in honor of former executive governor of Osun State, Late Senator Adetunji Isiaka Adeleke had the teams from Ejigbo, Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore federal constituency.
Egbedore Football team won the final competition on penalty shootout after goaless draw in 90-minutes, on sunday at Osogbo City Stadium, in the State capital.
The match started around 3:30pm, at the stadium, where Egbedore and Osun FA lock horns, before Egbedore triumph to Victory.
The winner was awarded a sum of One million naira, while runner-up goes home with #500,000 cash prize, 2nd and 3rd runners-up goes home with #300,000 and #100,000 respectively.
