Prince Debo Odesola has congratulated the people of Osun State and the members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the swearing-in ceremony of the state governor-elect, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, slated for Sunday, AMILOADED reports.
Odesola made this known in a statement signed and made available to AMILOADED on Saturday.
The statement read, “Congratulations to the people of osun state and the PDP home and abroad for witnessing the handling over of power to the winner of July 16th, 2022 governorship election , His excellency. Ademola Adeleke Nurudeen Jackson and his deputy Prince Kola Adewusi to office and government house.
“I prince Debo Odesola PDO and all members of PDO NETWORK welcome the new government to the state. I believe the people of osun has put the right peg in a square hole by voting PDP to power with clear margin. This to me, depicts the love of osun people to our great party and with this,am assuring them even development throughout the state.
“Now that the PDP has taken power of the governance,the light will start and continue to shine in every sector of the government.
“Let me congratulate all state executive led by Dr. Akindele, the local government executives in all the state especially Ife north local government under Hon. Mike Akande.
“Also, our state leaders Hon. Mojo Omisore, Hon.Eluyinka, Hon. Bola Ariyo and others together with all party members.
“We shall all enjoy dividend of democracy and our labour so far will not be in vain.”
