government’s primary election results, AMILOADED reports.

One of the chairmanship aspirants, Otunba Olusegun Fanibe, in an interview, said the primary election took place on Saturday, adding that he believed he was victorious as other aspirants witnessed the counting and signed.

He said, “On Saturday, in accordance of the party and Governor Gboyega Oyetola, the party ordered us to conduct a primary election and the templates was released and the primary election took place on Saturday which I believe I was victorious because the results came out and the law enforcement agency were present as ordered by the party and they witnessed the counting and signed.”

Fanibe also expressed grievance over the disunity and discrimination in the party, saying, “In Ife central and other areas of the state that we have investigated, we noticed that the party is in shambles.

“Too many fractions within one party, too many discrimination everywhere. Instead of our party to be improving, it is depreciating. People love us but some people within the party are making it difficult.”
