Osun 2022: IBO Women Campaign For Oyetola’s Re-Election in Dagbolu

IBO Women of Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency under the leadership of Osun State Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Barr. Olubukola Olaboopo, have taken the Governor Gboyega Oyetola campaign to Dagbolu area of the state, AMILOADED reports.

The women visited Ṣeke, Fidibomi, Asubiaro, Odo- Olubode, Ashamu, Agbale and others in the Dagbolu area of the state, where the women of the community received them joyfully.

At Gaa Fulani, in Obaagun, Gaa Saliu in Iba, ward 9 and 10, Ifelodun Local Government, Barr. Olubukola urged the women leader and councillor of the ward to work together to ensure that the people are mobilised to their ward to utilise the opportunity of INEC officials’ presence at the wards to obtain their voters card.

She added, “IBO Women have considered Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s achievements and how he has been fair to the women and the state at large. Since his assumption of office, we have not had a day strike salaries have been paid fully and steadily, free feeding across the state continues.

“One of his many good deeds is the one you have here in Dagbolu, the Free Trade Zone where several developers have been encouraged to establish their businesses for a better economy and job creation. All these have qualified him in our books for second term in office.

“We plead with you to go out enmasse to vote in Governor Oyetola ati the July 16 polls.”

The commissioner further educated the women on the voting process.

Also speaking, Yeye Olufunke Ọjọ said their visit was a sign that the administration of Governor Oyetola has remembered the communities and would definitely work towards meeting their needs

Responding, the women expressed their joy at their visit, promising to vote Governor Oyetola, while also pointing out their areas of need.

The Baale of one of the communities said the people of the community would surely vote Governor Oyetola in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
