Activist, Omoyele Sowore has announced the death of his grandmother, Comfort Olawoye, who passed away in the early hours of Wednesday.
The 2023 presidential aspirant made the announcement in a post he made on his verified Facebook account.
Sowore, who recently travelled to his state, Ondo to kick off his campaign was glad to have met late Olawoye for the last time.
He added that his solace rests in the decent life she lived when she was alive.
“My grandmother, Comfort Olawoye just died. She lived well! Rest in Power, Mama and thanks for waiting around until we met some two weeks ago before heading out to the world beyond,” he said.
While condoling with the family, friends and followers of the activist, prayed for the repose of Olawoye’s soul and the fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
