Osun 2022: Adeleke Campaign DG, Sunday Bisi, Warns Against ‘Rigging’ Governorship Election

The Director General of Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi, has warned against any attempt to “rig” the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, AMILOADED reports.

Hon. Bisi said “anyone trying to use Aso Rock remote to rig Osun election again should have a rethink.”

He said this at the inauguration of the campaign committee for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Bisi assured that “we in the campaign council will work in same pace with you and together, we will deliver Osun State.”

He said, “Now, I have heard many residents of the state express fears. They feared usual rigging force of the failed APC.

“They say to me most times, we like what you say. “We love what you stand for, we want to vote for you. But we want to be sure that our vote will count”.

“And my answer has been straightforward: There is only one way to make your vote count. And that is to vote for what you want. To vote for what you believe. To vote for Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.

“And if you believe, just like I do, that in this coming election, we’ve got to use it to protect our children, including coming generations, we’ve got to look after our aged heroes who have worked with their blood to sustain the state, and that above all else, we’ve got to launch the biggest, most committed drive to improve economy if the State as it affects all households, hen the vote that doesn’t count, the vote that doesn’t make the difference, the ‘wasted vote’, is the one cast for APC.

“If you want better schools, then the only way you will get them is by voting Ademola Adeleke. But the vote that doesn’t count, that won’t make the difference, is the APC vote – because they won’t do anything about the rising deaths and frustrations pervading the state, the unmotivated teachers, the falling school buildings and the abandoned pay cut arrears.

“If you want more doctors and nurses in our hospitals, then the only way you will get them is by voting PDP. And the vote that doesn’t count, that won’t make a difference, is the Apc vote – because they are only committed to spending plans to protect their lies so tight that we will see more cuts to jobs and services on an unprecedented scale because they don’t care.

“When the fog clears, there’s really very little to choose between Apc and the devil.

“The same wicked spendings, the same borrowing system without projected cautions, the same tax haulage on citizens without corresponding welfare turnover, the same failure to offer responsive explainations on incured liabilities and range of refunds.

“It is their vote that must not count because they must fail.

“Let me be very clear with a warning however, that I will not be in charge of a campaign for a candidate whose election would be rigged brazenly like we had in 2018.

“Anyone trying to use Aso Rock remote to rig Osun election again should have a rethink. The state is already tensed up. Anyone not submissive to the choice of the masses of Osun this time around had better resigned from ballot. EYI O JO TEEKAN O!

“As enumerated by the caretaker chairman, almost all sectors of human endeavors are in comatose in the state. This is what our candidate’s manifestos is projected to address.

“There will be schools for standard education and not self massaging or ego oiling, empty structures. Our schools will no longer be building without education. All factors capable of enhancing quality education will be addressed.

“Our land is agric friendly and holistic plans have been set in motion for the state to make a mega fortune for our state, amongst several urgent areas of attention by a responsible government.

“Our candidate will move around with this manifestos to assure our people of our readiness to fight and win for them.

“Once again, I want to congratulate all of us in advance because we have the people. We also have God Almighty, the decider of human fate,” Hon. Bisi said.
