The management of the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, the Osun State capital, has concluded plans to commence a two-day free surgical outreach for the residents of the state, AMILOADED reports.
The outreach, which has been scheduled for Thursday 9th and Friday 10th December, 2021, wouod hold at the hospital’s premises in Osogbo.
According to the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital who is also the outreach coordinator, Dr Babatunde Afolabi, no fewer than five hundred prospective beneficiaries have been planned to enjoy the medical outreach.
Some of the cases listed to be treated at the outreach include Hernia, Ganglion, Lumps, Cataract, Pterygium, In-growing toe-nails and Implant IUCD insertion. Etc.
“In order to have a smooth arrangement, members of the public who are interested are advised to report at the General Outpatient Department (GOPD) Clinic, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Osogbo between Monday 22nd to Friday 26th November for some important pre surgery preliminaries.
“This is a great opportunity for all which should not be missed,” the hospital stated.
