Captain Joseph Din: Tinubu’s Foremost Group, AGF, Commiserates With Plateau Govt, Family

Tinubu’s foremost group; The Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF) has commiserated with the family of former Commander of Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps, Captain Joseph Din, who died on Saturday, AMILOADED reports.

Captain Din, who was Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Elders’ Advisory Council in Plateau State, died on Saturday at Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island, Lagos at the age of 84.

However, the AGF, while commiserating with the deceased family via a statement issued in Lagos by the AGF National Publicity Secretary , Comrade Adeboye Adebayo, stated that the “Foundation sympathise with the family of Captain Din especially the widow, Mama Joseph Din and the Director of News at the TVC News, Stella Din”.

The AGF further urged the “family and well-wishers of Din’s family to take solace in the fact that the deceased Captain lived an exemplary and selfless life towards the betterment and development of the society.”

Adebayo stated, “On behalf of the National Executive Council members of AGF, the State Executive Members, members in diaspora and the entire members and management of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF, I write to commiserate with the entire family of Captain Din on his death especially the widow, her children, members of APC Elders’ Advisory Council of Plateau State and entire members of APC in Nigeria.

“The Foundation also commiserated with Plateau State Government under the leadership of HE Simeon Lalong and the people of the State in general to take solace in the fact that Captain Joseph Din lived an exemplary life.

“We joined our Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to commiserate also with the government and people of Plateau state under the able leadership of His Excellency Simeon Lalong on the demise. Though Captain Din died at the ripe age of 84 but it is always sad to lose a loved and amiable personality like Captain Din at any age because of the character he possessed while here on earth.

“He was selfless, committed to the tenets of progressive politics, very hardworking, humane and loving. We pray God in his mercy to give the widow, family members, government and people of Plateau state, APC family and indeed all well wishers to bear this great loss. The Captain will be definitely greatly missed,” the AGF National Publicity Secretary said.
