Bamidele Salam Hails Oyinlola, Obada, Adeleke, Others Over Move To Reconcile Aggrieved Osun PDP Members

The member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has described as ‘heart-warming’ the news that the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State have resolved to bury their differences and work together in the overall interest of the party, AMILOADED reports.

Salam expressed this view in reaction to the convergence of Osun PDP leaders to bring a lasting solution to the lingering crisis that has rocked the party for a while.

The lawmaker, who made this known in a statement made available to AMILOADED on Friday, said,

“I especially commend the former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former deputy governor Erelu Olusola Obada, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke, Chief Shuaib Oyedokun, Professor Wale Oladipo, Other BOT members and leaders of our party in the state for this exemplary feat and their magnanimity in accepting to forgive and forget real and perceived offences in order to unite around the party’s common ideals of peace, justice and development.”

“Worthy of commendation also is the nomination of our big brother, the former Chairman of our party in the state, Hon Olasoji Adagunodo for the vacant office of the South West Zonal Chairman of our party. Such peaceful and inclusive disposition will certainly position the party for the forthcoming elections as it sends a positive and timely signal to our teeming supporters that our party is ready to rescue the traumatised people of Osun State.

“I also congratulate the State Chairman of our party, Hon Sunday Bisi, for his focus and peaceful disposition to the cause of the party at all times. Such trait no doubt, has set us on the right path to success,” Salam stated.
