Sheikh Umar Suleman, a renowned Islamic scholar and the deputy to prominent Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi is dead.
AMILOADED gathered that he died on Monday at the age of 76years after a brief illness.
His son, Khadi Mustapha Suleman who confirmed his death to our correspondent said he is being prepared for burial according to Islamic rites.
He said:“My father, Shiekh Umar Suleman died today (Monday) in the afternoon at his residence in Unguwan Kanawa, Kaduna after a brief illness. He was 76-years-old.
“Until his death, he was the deputy to the renowned Islamic Scholar, Shiekh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, he was a community leader and a teacher.”
Mustapha Suleman said that the late Islamic Scholar is survived by 17 children and many grandchildren.
