Why I Want To Contest Osogbo South LCDA Chairmanship – Oyeduntan

A Personal Assistant to the Osun State Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Alabi and staunch member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr Shola Oyeduntan has said his desire of ensuring that Osogbo South Local Government Development Area develops in all ramifications has spurred him to be nursing ambition of becoming its chairman.

He said he has years of experience on the field of massive construction and social engineering adding he wouldn’t allow those who would misrule the council area to pilot its affairs.

Speaking with AMILOADED, Oyeduntan said, ” the zeal to serve my people and make indelible impacts in the lives of every individual of the four wards that make up Osogbo South LCDA is predicated on my years of experience in the field of massive construction and social engineering.

“I have total conviction that I possess better understanding of human dynamism and social challenges.

“J.F. Kennedy, the 35th American President postulated in 1963 while addressing party faithful in Washington DC, saying,” those who fail to participate in the politics of their environment risk being governed by their inferiors”.

“Having gathered necessary academic exposure and social orientation of creative dimension in a reputable tertiary dome, coupled with necessary native intelligence to lead without blemish, I have resolved to prevent my “inferiors” from coming to the saddle and cause pain and chaos to my people.

To me, Osogbo South Local Government Development Area(LCDA) remains a single source of water for multitude of inhabitants, hence, the need to protect it jealously and away from strangers of sort.

As a core stakeholder in the Osogbo agenda, I have lived and studied my political environment to understand the plight of every structure of that terrain and creatively map out potential solutions to tackle it headlong,” he said.

Born over four decades ago to the popular Oyeduntan lineage of Ile-Aladie Compound, in the present Ward 2, Isale-Osun, Osogbo, the political humanist, after successful academic pursuit considered infrastructural advancement as a strong signal of human development and growth.

He started his career with Stardust Estate, Lagos, before moving to Nimimlas Construction and later as Director at Lekgmog Project limited .

He was one of the principal partners that supervised the construction of Anthony Uduofia as well as AUD Primary Schools, in the Osogbo metropolis.

He has been playing a significant and priceless roles in the political activities of the present Deputy Governor, State of Osun, Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi since 2015.
