Democracy Day: Congressman Daramola Salute Nigerians, Advocates Good Governance

A former member of the House of Representatives, Congressman Bimbo Daramola has harped on the need for government at all levels to ensure that Nigerian citizens enjoy good governance that democracy ought to fetch them.

Congratulating Nigerians on this occasion of the 2018  Democracy Day in a statement he issued on Tuesday, Daramola advised politicians to shun utterances and actions calpable of causing crisis.

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti further urged political leaders to sustain Democracy within their various capacities and also ensure that they address the needs of the people.

Stressing that no significant development can take without democracy, Daramola said the freedom the nation enjoys today should be safeguarded and guided jealously.

He called on eligible voters in Nigeria to ensure they collect their Permanent Voters Cards and exercise their franchise saying this is part of the privileges democracy affords.

Specifically,  the ex-lawmaker encouraged Ekiti people to troop out enmasse and vote candidates of their choice during the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
