A former member of the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Rotimi Makinde has been confirmed by the Osun State House of Assembly for membership of the State of Osun Judicial Service Commission.
Having been nominated by the State of Osun governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Honourable Makinde was confirmed alongside Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade, Mr. Olagunju Oloruntoba and Olutayo Abel Oyewale.
In his reaction, Makinde expressed joy as saying “I am indeed happy to be so considered for this exalted position by my mentor. Much of joy in my mind most especially that it’s a statutory post bestowed on me based on integrity.
“It goes to show that the governor indeed hold me in high esteem contrary to so many insinuation and this simply confirmed that steadiness and loyalty pays, I feel greatly honored.
” I wish to assure the good people of Osun State that I shall do everything within my best to those things that will promote rapid transformation, equity and justice in the course of my new challenge,” he declared.
