A governorship aspirant in Osun State Babatunde Adedotun Taiwo has felicitated with Nigerians, especially the people of Osun State on the occasion of the country’s 57th independence anniversary.

This was contained in a press release personally signed by him and made available to Amiloaded Correspondent in Osogbo on Sunday.

Taiwo contended that the nation needed a radical and departure from what was obtainable in the past saying the country was yet to be where it supposed to be.

According to him, “as I wish Nigeria and Nigerians across the globe a Happy birthday at 57,  I also pray that all shall be well with Nigeria. We are actually not where we should be, but surely we are not where we used to be. More must be done by everyone.

“We must promote a radical departure from the past, we need a cultural, economic and political change to get us to our promise land. A land where everybody will be given the foundation from which they can strive.

“Getting it very right is very crucial at this very age and time for us all. there must be a sincere change; a change that puts a stop to the leaders that have recycled themselves in different capacities over the years. They can’t  outdo themselves; No one can give what they don’t have.

“It’s high time we stopped following anyone (who’s reached their destinations) and no more not going anywhere.

“As we celebrate our 57th year post independence,  I call on every Nigerian to embrace love and promote unity.  Let us all join hands together to pull Nigeria to a success story.

“We stand together, we rise together. We stand divided, we fall together. God bless Nigeria and God bless the State of Osun,” he concluded.
